A family friend

Pumpkinseed was our name for a red fox who graced our area for several years. She was tinged with the color of the most richly hued autumn pumpkin and loved eating pumpkin seeds!

While she never lost her wildness, she also wasn't fearful; rather, she maintained a beautiful balance between being really relaxed and absolutely alert.

Pumpkinseed taught us a lot about living life in the present moment. Although she died several years ago, the memory of her continues to influence the way we work and live our lives.
